From 2027, Antenatal Classes are run on a Thursday evening from 18h45- 20h45 for 6 consecutive weeks. The course costs R3050 for the 6 weeks.

Adacel is a Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine. Administered in pregnancy between 26 -36 weeks. We receive government stock of this vaccine for pregnant women only (only admin fee charged). Partners, Grandparents and other caregivers can book for the private Adacel Quadra.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the cost, stock is not kept at the clinic. We will need to order it in for you, so please allow at least a 3 day lead time for bookings. Please message us when you book so we can see if we can get stock.

The RSV vaccine (Abrysvo) is indicated for pregnant woman between 28 and 36 week gestation. Although it can be given with the Whooping cough vaccine, it is recommended that it is given at least 2 weeks apart for better efficacy.

x 1 Postnatal Home visit is offered after discharge from hospital. Subsequent visits are now at the clinic.

Sr Brigitte Williams is a Registered Nurse & Midwife, and a SACLC (South African Certified Lactation Consultant). Brigitte will assess and assist any moms who are experiencing challenging breastfeeding journeys.

She offers this service as a Home visit or clinic visit

A Breastfeeding Consultation is offered to any clients experiencing any challenges with breastfeeding, or who just want to check that all is going well with their breastfeeding journey.

Follow-up and general consultations: weekly weigh ins, advice on feeding, fussy babies, sleep, routine, emotional support, starting solids, any other advice required

A monthly talk for parents and caregivers on starting solids. The talk includes how to know when your baby is ready, practical tips and how to introduce allergens.

Please note that the 6 month old vaccine, Measles/Rubella is done on specific days every month, as the government stock gives us a 10 dose vial which, when opened, has to be used on 8-10 babies in one six hour period.

Bexsero is a new to South Africa (has been offered in the UK and parts of Europe for many years).

Protects against Meningococcal meningitis vaccine Serotype B. Available from 8 weeks but preferred age 4.5mths +

Onvaro (Chicken Pox) and Hepatitis A (Havrix) vaccines - optional private vaccines. This second Hepatitis A should be at least 6 months after the first one.

- Highly contagious varicella-Zoster viral infection causing itchy, blistery fluid filled pustules.

- Spread via skin to skin contact, saliva, sharing cups, skin to skin and contaminated surfaced

- A highly contagious infection of the liver spread via faecal contamination of food and water

- Spread via restaurants. crèches and other food outlets

Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis & Inactivated Polio Immunization (Private) - Adacel Quadra. Typically given at 6 years old, 12 years old and in adults needing the Whooping Cough vaccine when they have a pregnant partner.
